The Dovetail Box used woodworking and wood-cutting routers to make the cuts for the dovetails and grooves. I also used various tools to cut the inside of the box to make slots for the top and bottom. We used other woodworking tools to make the pyramid shape for the top and also used different roughnesses to smooth the box. I then used wood glue and tape to put the box together and then cut the box open using the wood saw so I could insert a handle and hinges so the box can open and close. Before adding the hinges and handle, I removed the tape from the inside and sprayed the dovetail box with a wood finisher to give it a shiny and finished look. I then added a handle and hinges giving the box a finished look using a drill and screws.
